Important notice. These Terms and Conditions have been refreshed and rewritten as of 01/01/2026 to align with Mr. Ship It's current compliance and operating framework, including KYC verification, internal AML controls, payment authorization, package inspection, restricted goods screening, and shipment release controls.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mr. Ship It website, customer account systems, shipping address program, package receiving services, freight forwarding services, package release procedures, pickup and delivery arrangements, and any related services we provide.
By registering for an account, using a suite number or shipping address assigned by us, sending items to our facilities, directing us to receive, process, store, release, deliver, forward, return, or discard items, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility, Registration, and Account Information
You must provide complete, accurate, and current information when applying for or maintaining an account. We may require personal accounts and business accounts to complete identity verification, address verification, business verification, authority verification, or other onboarding steps before account activation, shipment processing, shipment release, or continued use of services.
- You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, contact details, and authorized pickup or delivery instructions.
- You may not use another person's identity, payment method, or shipping authority without lawful authorization.
- We may refuse to open, maintain, or reactivate an account where information is incomplete, inconsistent, unverifiable, suspicious, or otherwise unacceptable to our risk and compliance controls.
3. Scope of Services
Mr. Ship It acts as a logistics and freight forwarding service provider and may also coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, agents, warehouses, payment providers, and other service partners. Our services may include receiving packages or mail, assigning a suite number or U.S. shipping address, opening and inspecting packages, weighing and measuring packages, consolidating items, arranging transport, storing items, facilitating customs processing, releasing shipments for pickup, and handling delivery or return instructions.
We are not the seller, manufacturer, or original carrier of the items you order. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we do not guarantee that any shipment can or will be exported, imported, cleared, delivered, or released within any particular timeframe.
4. KYC, AML, Inspection, and Restricted Goods Controls
Use of our services is subject to our internal compliance procedures, including KYC, AML, fraud prevention, sanctions screening support, package inspection, and restricted goods review.
- We may require identification documents, proof of address, business records, tax or registration information, invoices, proof of payment, end-use information, or additional supporting documents.
- We may open, inspect, photograph, review, reweigh, or otherwise examine packages and related documents at any time for operational, safety, customs, insurance, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes.
- We may delay, refuse, return, hold, report, surrender, or dispose of shipments where we suspect prohibited goods, restricted goods, dangerous goods, false declarations, sanctions exposure, suspicious activity, fraud, illegal use, unpaid balances, or any breach of these Terms.
- Completion of account registration does not guarantee that every shipment will be accepted, processed, transported, released, or delivered.
5. Prohibited and Restricted Items
You may not use our services for unlawful, dangerous, fraudulent, or prohibited shipments. Restricted goods may be accepted only where lawful, operationally feasible, and supported by all required approvals and documentation.
5.1 Examples of prohibited or commonly refused items
- Firearms, ammunition, weapon parts, tactical gear, explosives, fireworks, and similar items.
- Hazardous, flammable, corrosive, toxic, pressurized, combustible, or otherwise dangerous materials.
- Illegal drugs, contraband, counterfeit goods, stolen goods, lock-picking devices, or unlawful surveillance items.
- Cash, bearer instruments, lottery tickets, and similar high-risk valuables unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
- Items prohibited by carrier rules, customs rules, export controls, import controls, sanctions restrictions, or destination-country laws.
5.2 Customer responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that goods tendered to us are lawful, safely packaged, accurately described, properly declared, and eligible for transport, export, import, clearance, and delivery. Our acceptance, handling, or processing of any package does not mean the package is lawful or compliant.
6. Charges, Payment Authorization, Customs, and Taxes
You authorize us and our payment service providers to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due in connection with your account or any shipment handled for you. Charges may include shipping charges, customs duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage charges, processing charges, inspection fees, storage, insurance, service fees, penalties, address correction charges, return charges, compliance review charges, and any other applicable amounts.
- All charges are due when billed unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Quoted delivery times and quoted prices may be estimates only unless expressly identified as fixed and binding.
- You remain responsible for all destination duties, taxes, assessments, customs charges, regulatory charges, and any costs arising from inaccurate declarations or missing documentation.
- We may suspend release of goods until all outstanding charges are paid in full.
7. Storage, Delinquency, Lien, and Abandonment
We may assess storage or holding charges on shipments not promptly collected, released, or cleared. If your account is delinquent, inactive, disputed, non-compliant, or unreachable, we may hold shipments and decline further services.
To secure payment of all sums due and performance of your obligations, you grant us a contractual lien and security interest, to the fullest extent permitted by law, over shipments, documents, and related property in our possession or control. If charges remain unpaid or shipments remain unclaimed, we may, after any notice required by applicable law, return, surrender, dispose of, destroy, or sell the goods and apply proceeds toward the amount owed, without further liability except as required by non-waivable law.
8. Claims, Insurance, and Limitation of Liability
Any insurance, declared value coverage, or carrier liability is subject to the terms, exclusions, procedures, and limits imposed by the applicable carrier, insurer, warehouse, or service provider. Coverage may be unavailable for some commodities or destinations.
- You must inspect shipments promptly and notify us of any visible loss, shortage, damage, or delivery issue within the claim period we specify or, if none is specified, within a commercially reasonable time.
- We may require original invoices, proof of value, photographs, packaging evidence, and other documents before considering any claim.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost business, loss of market, or emotional distress.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any shipment or service event is limited to the lesser of the proven direct loss, declared value accepted by us, available carrier or insurer recovery, or the amount you paid us for the affected service, except to the extent non-waivable law provides otherwise.
9. Website and Service Use Restrictions
You may not use our website or services to harass others, upload malicious code, interfere with our systems, misrepresent identity, conduct fraud, launder funds, evade customs or sanctions laws, receive prohibited goods, or otherwise engage in unlawful or abusive conduct.
We may suspend or terminate access to our website, accounts, or services at any time where we reasonably believe misuse, fraud, risk, or legal exposure exists.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mr. Ship It, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and service providers from and against any losses, liabilities, penalties, fines, claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your account, your shipments, your instructions, your documents or declarations, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your negligence, fraud, or misconduct.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account or service immediately, with or without notice where permitted by law, if we determine that continued service presents legal, operational, payment, fraud, sanctions, customs, safety, reputational, or compliance risk, or where you breach these Terms.
Termination does not affect amounts already due, rights accrued before termination, our retention rights, or any provisions that by their nature should survive termination.
12. General Legal Terms
- Changes: We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version. Continued use of our services after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
- Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable service-specific terms, form the agreement between you and us concerning the covered services.
13. Governing Law and Venue
Unless non-waivable law requires otherwise, these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the website or services shall be governed by the laws of The Bahamas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts of The Bahamas shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to our right to seek interim, injunctive, debt recovery, possession, or enforcement relief in any competent jurisdiction where persons, goods, or assets are located.
